End User License Agreement

1. Agreement

By installing or using Migration Field Cleanup for Jira ("the App"), you agree to the terms of this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

This EULA supplements the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict, the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use shall prevail.

2. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this EULA and valid payment (where applicable), the developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on a single Atlassian Jira Cloud site for its intended purpose: detecting and merging duplicate custom fields created during Data Center to Cloud migration.

Free Features

Scanning for duplicate fields is available at no cost to all users.

Paid Features

Merging duplicate field values requires a valid paid license purchased through the Atlassian Marketplace. The license is:

• Per site: One license per Jira Cloud site
• Perpetual: One-time purchase, no recurring fees
• Non-transferable: Cannot be moved to a different Jira Cloud site

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App outside of the Atlassian Marketplace
• Use the App in a manner that violates Atlassian's terms of service
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App

4. Data and Privacy

The App processes data only within the Atlassian Forge platform. No data is transmitted to external servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

The developer does not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• The App will be compatible with all Jira Cloud configurations
• All custom field types will be supported for merging

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with the use of the App.

The developer's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App license.

7. Your Responsibilities

Before using the merge feature, you should:

• Review the scan results carefully
• Understand which fields will be merged
• Verify that the merge preview shows the expected changes
• Ensure you have appropriate Jira administrator permissions

The App is designed to safely merge fields (it never overwrites existing data), but you are responsible for verifying the results are correct for your specific Jira configuration.

8. Support

Support is provided via email at support@appcento.com. We will make reasonable efforts to respond to support requests within 2 business days.

Support includes:

• Assistance with App installation and configuration
• Bug reports and troubleshooting
• Feature requests (considered for future updates)

Support does not include:

• General Jira administration assistance
• Custom development or modifications
• Migration consulting services

9. Updates

The developer may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates will be delivered through the Atlassian Forge platform and the Atlassian Marketplace. You are not obligated to install updates, but older versions may not be supported indefinitely.

10. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the App from your Jira Cloud site. The developer may terminate this EULA if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App.

11. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
